Troop 171 is a parent-chartered troop with a major focus on outdoor activities, having an average of one outdoor opportunity each month. Every June or July we participate in a summercamp . We alternate on a yearly basis between an out of council camp and an in council camp. This year we are attending Camp Ben Delatour scout camp. Last year we went to Camp Tahosa.We have a grand total of 31 eagle scouts
